If you think that you, or someone you know, might have an alcohol or drug related problem then there are groups and organisations out there to give you a helping hand.

Here are some suggested websites that could be useful.

Alcohol and drugs support – Derbyshire County Council – Derbyshire county council website with information of local support.

Alcoholics Anonymous – Regional website with search facility to find local groups and support. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Alcohol problems advisory services – an independent not-for-profit provider of a variety of services designed to reduce the harm alcohol, gambling, substance misuse and addiction problems cause to individuals, families and the communities they live in.

Alcohol Concern – In April 2017 Alcohol Concern merged with Alcohol Research UK to form the UK’s leading independent alcohol charity. Together, we are working to end the harm caused by alcohol.
