NHS Health Checks are available every 5 years to patients aged 40-74 with no other pre diagnosed conditions eg hypertension.
After the Covid Pandemic these checks were carried for the practice by Live Life Better Derbyshire. However from April 2024 the checks will now be completed back at the practice.
Patients will be invited to attend (via letter or text message) directly from the practice and asked to book a 20 minute appointment with Louise (our Trainee Nurse Associate).
When patients attend the appointment a full NHS Health Check review is carried out including blood tests.
